Happy November
November should be a celebration all on its own. There is so much to like about it. We exercise our right to vote, honor our military veterans and say thanks to God for the bounty that we enjoy in this country. The air is brisk and refreshing but not too cold. We pull out our winter clothes and go from bright colors to the warmth of brown, gold and orange. Wool socks are a must! Food is a bit heartier. Casseroles replace barbeque. Scents in the air are no longer flowery but smell of baking and spices.
I was thinking today about how often I want to rush through November to get to the “Holidays”. Not this year. This year, I am going to vote on the First Tuesday, honor our military veterans and go to God with Thanksgiving; a time to celebrate the changing of fall into winter. Have a Happy November!
