Extra-large US Army General Services blackened-copper button.  Dates from post Civil War (1865 & forward).  This two-piece convex, copper  over brass button has a sturdy loop shank. Reverse side sports back mark, "D EVANS CO ATTLEBORO FALLS".  Button front is in excellent condition with back showing some wear.  Measures 1 1/8" in diameter.
