What came first, the Chicken or the Egg?

I am sure I am not going to answer the age old question in a button blog, but I can ask this question.  What came first, the project or the inspiration?  Sometimes we have a project that we are working on and the search is on for just the right button.  Other times, we find the button and it inspires us to create.  No matter which is true, these colorful buttons shaped like eggs are perfect for an Easter project, whether it is the finishing touch or something yet to be discovered. 

These buttons are made in Holland and are vintage.  They would make perfect Easter eggs although I have to admit that the green one could pass for an olive in the bottom of a martini glass.  Put an assortment in a candy dish since they also could pass for giant jelly beans.  String them together on elastic thread for a fun bracelet to go with the Easter Bonnet.  At 25 cents each, they are a wonderful bargain.  We have plenty of each color so order as many as you would like.
