Happy Trails Arlene

A lovely lady by the name of Arlene came by our booth at the Norsk Hostfest and purchased a selection of miniature glass buttons.  Arlene is an artist and makes remarkable boxes constructed of tiny glass beads.  The intricate boxes are made for people that they love, personalizing them to their talents and interests. She told us that making the boxes is part of her physical therapy and the delicate work keeps her hands functioning.  Her husband told me that when Arlene became ill, they sold the farm that they had spent a lifetime building and hit the road in an RV.  Twelve years later, they are still having a ball.  Happy Trails Arlene!
